The information on my hard-drive is not only salvageable, but the replacement hard-drive is completely covered. I just have to pay to get the information off of it recovered.

I GOT APPLE CARE ALL UP IN THIS BIZNITCH, SO WHEN SOMETHIN' FAILS IT GETS REPLACED LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER! Yeah, all you PC users who brag about being able to fix your own computers? It is so fucking nice to be able to have someone else replace shit FOR FREE. A new hard drive costs a hundred bucks, a tech support call is fifty bucks each time, and a got all this shit for free because I bought a Apple Care plan when I got my Mac.

...this is actually not directed at anyone on lj. I've just had two bitches blame the fact I'm a Mac user on why my hard drive failed. And I know for a FACT that is the nature of ALL COMPUTERS for hard drives to fail. It just. Fucking. Happens. For no specific reason at all. Hard drives fail. So it is not because I obey industry standards, fuckers. And yes I am backing up the shit out of my new hard drive.

seriously i went to update facebook to inform everyone and the first post is "TONY IS SICK OH NOES".

last night when i tried to re-install leopard after my Mac wouldn't stay on, the "select destination" field was completely blank.

let's just all agree that this week is over forever.

As a small plus I am now the animation director AND co-producer for "Jeff and Mike". I WILL WRITE A COMIC ON THIS LATER.

BUT HOW WILL I POST IT OH GODS.

One quick thing I'd like to mention because a lot of people have been concerned about me, and maybe it's time I clarify some things. I'm 22. I am really, really laid back. I have been through some mild shit and have come out of it better, so I'm fine. Nothing I complain about is overtly dramatic, and although I get stressed out from time to time I can deal with it. So when I tweet or post about being depressed, think of it like I'm posting about heartburn. It's just what I'm feeling and although I appreciate the concern, I am ultimately ok. As I complained before, I am getting tired of self-censorship so I just post how I feel. I try not to go on tangents complaining about why I feel that way, because most of the time it's because I'm overtired, stressed or hungry. I still feel bad but I need some release, and posting about it helps. Just saying "I AM SO STRESSED" really does relieve some stress, because it's admitting the problem. So yeah. I <3 you guys and appreciate the concern, but don't be too worried! *hugs*

The next part is a really vain tangent about online dating, so you can skip it if you don't care. Ultimately I am thinking about getting on OkCupid, and would like some advice and broader knowledge of how it works. If nothing else, check out the link I posted, it's neat and is almost convincing.

I feel awful about not doing comics this week. I keep losing track of time but I am still sketching. The arc is a bit exauhsting though, so I may gloss over some things. But what makes me super sad is I cannot get the Elias comic to work. It comes across like I'm asking for a hug because it's all I could think of, but that is not it at all. He stood there until I gave him one! ^_^

I really need to get to the concert itself, because that was the fun part. But since I started this, more ideas keep coming about other comics so I just have to drudge along.

Plus as an added bonus I think I'm going to do a brief animation for Zeroes for my animation class. Basically I'm going to ask the prof to trust me, because I'm going to tackle the Dethklok style with this. I feel like a creeper but it's going to look awesome. I'll be basing it off of this illustration if I can.




...I think I'm only having this problem because of how busy Halloween weekend was. This weekend I need to work, so I'll have more free non-social time to do the comics and other homework. Yeah weekend! Still feel bad though.
